Very creative, curious and hard-working therefore has great potential. She brings great energy in the class, with confidence and has improved her performance, as well as, phrasing and tonality a lot this term. Keep working on technique and ear training. I’d suggest setting a daily routine of warm-ups, practice vowels, syllables and consonants to improve articulation and phrasing. Use speech singing approach.

Technique Mattea is already broadening her skills in class and her work so far belies her young age and she is not at all overwhelmed by the older members of her class.

Potential Mattea has lots of potential as a performer and demonstrates maturity, commitment, focus and enthusiasm in all classes. Work Ethic Mattea is a dedicated, hard-working student, I am very impressed by her attitude in class and how she is not afraid to rise to any challenge.

Things to work on I would like Mattea to focus on diction and clarity vocally and to experiment with pace and tempo in her speech work.

Mattea needs to work on her core strength and arm lines to gain more strength in all her work. I would like to see a more varied performance style in choreography to give her work more maturity at this age. An excellent term with great potential but needs to push to that next level especially if you want to train in the UK.
